I would like to take this opportunity to notify all sporting organisations in the Hammond electorate that applications close soon for Round 37 of the Active Club Program.

The Active Club Program provides assistance to strengthen and sustain community sport and active recreation organisations through club development, programs and equipment.

Eligible organisations can apply for a Facility and/or a Program and Equipment Grant. Up to $5,000 is available for Program and Equipment Grants and up to $20,000 for facility projects.

Over $33,000 in funding was allocated to successful applicants in Hammond in the recent Round 36 Active Club Program, helping sporting clubs to purchase sporting equipment, assist in training and development and club promotion.
