New mobile base stations to benefit Murraylands

Hammond is set to benefit from improved mobile coverage thanks to the joint Federal and State Government Mobile Black Spot announcement today which will see 29 new base stations funded in South Australia.

Hammond to receive Boating Facilities Funding

Hammond is set to receive funding for two projects under the South Australian Boating Facilities Fund.

The two projects in Hammond are:

  • Dickson’s Reserve Tailem Bend – construction of a multipurpose floating pontoon.
  • Avoca Dell Reserve Bank Reclamation and Erosion Control. This project includes increasing car parking and upgrading the existing single lane boat ramp to a new dual lane boat ramp.

Student Fee waived for regional working visa holders

I welcome the Marshall Liberal Government’s announcement that the student contribution fee for dependents of 457 and 482 visa holders attending government schools in regional areas is being waived.
