Pederick supports Gifford Hill in Parliament

Liberal Member for Hammond, Adrian Pederick, called on the Weatherill Labor Government to support with the Murray Bridge Racing Club Gifford Hill development during a parliamentary debate yesterday.

“The Murray Bridge Racing Club plans are great for the region and, above all, will create huge employment and tourism opportunities,” Mr Pederick said.

Finn’s Law fight continues with the introduction of Bill into Parliament

Liberal Member for Hammond, Adrian Pederick, has today re-introduced a Private Member’s Bill in State Parliament to amend the Statutes Amendment (Rights of Foster Parents and Guardians) Bill 2015.

The Bill, known as Finn’s Law, would give foster parents the option to be recognised on a death certificate if a child dies in their care and also give them the chance to be involved in funeral arrangements.

The State Liberals will protect South Australian pensioners from yet another cash grab by the Weatherill Government.

Federal funding for Murray Darling projects held up by SA Labor

The Weatherill Labor Government is the only state that has failed to negotiate a Project Agreement through the Federal Government’s Murray Darling Basin Economic Diversification Program, despite funding being announced in August 2013.

Concern over call for Weir
