Pederick invites Brock to visit Hammond

Liberal Member for Hammond, Adrian Pederick, has invited new Regional Development Minister, Geoff Brock, to visit the electorate of Hammond.

“I have already made contact with the Minister inviting him to Hammond to discuss a number of exciting projects important to the economic growth of the region,” said Mr Pederick.

During the recent State Election campaign, the State Liberals committed $15 million for the Murray Bridge Racing Club Gifford Hill development – an important development in the Murraylands region.

“The State Labor Government has neglected regional South Australia for 12 years,” said Mr Pederick.

“Mr Brock has a lot of work to do as the Weatherill Labor Government Minister responsible for regional South Australia.

“This includes rebuilding confidence and relationships with regional communities that Mr Weatherill and Labor have simply snubbed.

“The State Liberals have always been supportive of our regions and committed to a $139 million growth plan for our regions during the recent State Election campaign.

“As the Member for Hammond, I will continually raise the important issues facing our communities with Mr Brock.

“The State Liberals recognise the importance of our regions and I will continue my fight for development, economic and employment growth in Hammond,” said Mr Pederick.
